Greetings Twog & Warren! I'm looking for the updated list of Twog members on our ning site, but have not found it. Would you consider updating the names of the current Twog members on the main link of 'Who We Are' : http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/page/the-twog
Also, I am glad there was a Transition presence at our 5th annual Community Seed Swap: http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/events/community-seed-swap-2013
When you've a chance, it would be helpful to receive a reply via email, from my earlier email sent to Twog, in regards to my invitation to TW to be one of the many community co-sponsors to our educational free community seed savers exchange event. Although we did not receive a response in regards to our Jan 2013 event, Twog is welcome share their thoughts & interests towards either tabling, or being one of the community sponsors for our next seed savers exchange event. We are "planting seeds into the hands of the people".
Again, it would be helpful to have the Twog's 'Who We Are" page updated, as I am often asked who are the current members of TW operating group, and I would like to refer to the web for the most current info of members.
Thank you for your committment towards our resilance & our transitions! Heather K
Many of us share our events & news through Shannon's Garden E-News.
Info on how to connect is at:

In regards to your question about finding a tool to rent & organizing tool shares, you could network with your lettered street neighbors, or network through fourthcornerexchange.com which is one of our local currency trade groups, or look into working together with Tom Anderson to create a Tool Library:
http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/toollibraries
I sent you a friend request, but to connect you'll need to sign on to the TW site, and then go to your personal page.
Hope this all helps and your garden is growing in diversity & fertility.
Currently, I'm hosting an internationally known editor, Larry Korn, of the classi c book on natural farming, "The One Straw Revolution" by Masanobu Fukuoda with a couple other volunteer grassroot farmer friends, on May 10th. Its under the events tab or http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/events/the-theory-and-practice-of. There is a potluck for lovers of food & farmers this Sunday, also under the events tab. You would be welcome to join us!
