~ Wonderful!!!
Jaime, you are not alone! I hope to breed them this spring/summer, I will keep you informed on their progress.
~ Hi Jessica, I am also interested in raising ducks. I'd like to get eggs from you, or perhaps ducklings?
Sincerely, Jamie Jedinak
Just curious if there is anyone else that works with ducks at all? We just started our flock this fall and have a handful of Welsh Harlequins that we're hoping to breed.
We're flying the coop and heading south! I've disbanded my coop and have a few things to offer this group.....let me know if you're interested!
1) A wooden crate with wire around it that I use as a mobile chicken tractor. Ideal for 2 - 3 chickens....we used this system for years and works great. Free! U-haul, I'll help load. P1010087.JPG
2) Excess chicken wire from our pen.....small pieces, long pieces, varying gauges....good for patching holes, or doing small projects. Free!
3) Our VERY sturdy coop with perch. Totally secure, fits 2 - 5 chickens. It'll be hosed out and sprayed with vinegar as a disinfectant tomorrow....it's been kept pretty clean though and my chickens never had any issues with any nasties. U-haul, I'll help load. $10. P1010088.JPG
