Looking for a rental house

Hi Everyone,My wife and I are planning a move to the Bellingham area at the end of January.  We currently live in Bellevue and want to put down roots somewhere with a more established community of like-minded people.  We're looking for a rental house with as much yard as we can get.  Ideally we'd like to be within a 15 minute drive of downtown, but the home is more important to us than proximity to town.  We want to be able to comfortably afford the place so we're hoping to keep the rent around…See More

Moving to Bellingham with my wife and our daughter Oct. 2016!
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I learned about Transition after learning about peak oil. I am looking for constructive ways to move myself and my family into our future.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I have been involved in international trade for most of my adult life. I am actively researching livestock, herbalism and permaculture. I'm motivated to learn more.

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Searched for a transition network in the area where my wife and I hope to move. I am encouraged to see how many people are involved in this area.
