WANTED:  someone with chicken expertise to offer advice on the building of a new hen house.  We have someone who is willing to help us with the construction as long as we have a plan to go from.  My bro has 5 chickens and a henhouse built to accommodate 2 or 3 chickens.  Winter is fast approaching and we want to be sure the birds have adequate shelter.

Thanks!

Chicken first aide.....Anyone with experience want to offer a class for us new to chicken husbandry?

I'm interested in learning what I can do to tend my chickens if they get minor injuries or illnesses so I don't have to take them to the vet for something I can take care of if I know how. Vets are expensive.

Daniel Potter came by my place today with his son.  They are new to the area and I was thrilled to buy his first chicken food canister.  I thought you all might be interested in one of these and he is interested in custom work as well!

Daniel Potter ~ Sudden Valley ~ 389-1323 - he says it's especially helpful for the Scratch N Peck food solving the spreading all over problem -

~  I've got a challenge and could use some advice ~ My Americana is laying only tiny "hiccup" eggs....she is fed what the others have been fed and yet continues to lay these little eggs.

Can anyone offer advice as to why and what I might do to get back to regular sized eggs?

~  Thanks,  Jamie

2 Roosters ~ Olive Eggers - $15 (Bellingham)

~ I have been studying up on raising chickens to lay many shades of Olive colored eggs!

These two 13 week old black boys came from olive colored eggs!! Hatched and raised on Scratch and Peck org food and lots of space to roam and peck.

One is beginning to croon and crow ~ 756-9919

If you know of anyone interested in chicken genetics, please pass them onward!  Thank you!  Jamie

Thanks, Jamie
