The Food Bank Farm could use more volunteers this summer! We grow organic vegetables for local food banks, and volunteering here is really fun, plus you learn a lot about gardening/ farming, and can take home fresh produce! If interested, contact Max Morange: glean@bellinghamfoodbank.org.

Let the Food & Farming Program at Sustainable Connections know about your Sept. local food focused class, tasting, food/farming book reading, forum/speaker, edible gardening workshop, etc!

Does anyone have a Scarlet Monkey flower and/or Yellow Monkey flower plant they would like to divide? I'm planting a bird and bee garden in a wet mostly shady area. Any other suggestions would be helpful.
