If you want any coaching on how to navigage this TW-ning site, just let me know and we can connect on phone when we are both online.
Also, I noticed there are about 4 other members on our TW site that list Lummi Island under their location. I found them by going to the 'Members' tab, then I typed in Lummi Island in the search bar, then hit return (don't do the advanced search). You could then leave a comment on each of their pages with an invite & link to the Transition Whatcom Lumni Island group you created here.
(Or if you want me to give it a try doing the invites, just let me know....I tend to be an island fan and Lummi is high on my list).
I don't know yet if their are any other Lummi islanders on this site - Yet!
There is also a Transition Cascadia group on the US Transition ning site, at
http://transitionus.ning.com/group/transitioncascadia
There is a group of us online there supporing each others efforts from across the region.
We are having our 2nd Annual 2010 Seed-Swap this Jan 31st and will gather in downtown B'ham!
It would be wonderful to have some islanders come over and either share their seeds or receive the abundance we have to share!
There is also a Gardeners-Permaculturist network group on this TW site along with many other networking groups under the 'Group' tab...and lots of discusssion to join in!
Welcome & I'll look working together under the sky dome with souls on the ground!
