Angela, Thanks for understanding. BTW, who wouldn't love a farm with a lovely name like Inspiration Farm! We are so lucky to live here with so many fantastic local farms!! I'd also love to hear about people's favorite local "ingredients" and local farms. One of my favorite local foods is wild salmon. I miss it so when the season is over.

Sorry about my rushed repost. I would still love to hear what people's favorite local food and farm are!

That's OK, I already have a commitment for Tuesday evening and wouldn't have been able to attend. It was fun to mention my favorite farms.

Oh, sorry folks (and Angela, in particular!). We already did the ticket giveaway on our Facebook page. Sorry that rolled over to the TW post, too. But, please still join us at The Pickford Tuesday night for the movie. Thanks, Laura

Coop Friends, Good to see some active discussion!
I do have a concern and a request.

As this group is a sub-group of our Transition Whatcom ning.com site, it is important that our time, energy, & respectful ideas/comments on this transparent community forum are preserved & not deleted.

If a creator of any TW sub group deletes either their created group or their TW ning.com membership, we may lose all that has been shared.

Megan, I hear your earlier comment stating concerns and that you could “discontinue this page”.
Would you be willing to commit to first speak with our TW ning creator David MacLeod before ever deleting this group or discussion?

(Otherwise it might make more sense for us to copy the comments on this group to a seperate discussion that is started by someone who is comfortable not deleting the dialogue- Let us know what your preference is.) (There are other option also that could be shared with you). Megan, thanks for your work on the coop membership committee and keeping the big vision in mind along with the emerging changes earth brings to our community.

Above Re Comment by Megan Westgate sept 30 2010..”....Again, this page is monitored by MAC, not by Co-op staff, and is a place for big-picture visioning. If this distinction proves too confusing, we may discontinue the page. We want to make sure your wonderful comments are in the right place so that they can be responded to appropriately. Thank you!

Great question! This is getting fun : ) I am taking notes for our MAC meeting agendas--we may also want to start a discussion forum on that one...
