Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I current serve on the local Peak Oil Task Force formed by the local governments. I have voluntered to be part of Transition Whatcom.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have a strong belief that our society needs to change its focus from materialism if it is going to grow in healthy directions. I would much prefer a to live in a social setting that was more supportive of community to live out my remaining years and have a place for any grandchildren I might have to experience strong community values.

Hi Tom! Thank you for all you do in our community, and for the heartfelt wise words you often share! Good to see you at the TW meeting for the leadership evolution!
I've encouraged James Bauckman to connect with you and consider joining the TW Tools Library group.
He has just initiated an Offering on FourthCornerExchange for "Tools for Trade/Barter/Share". He is located up in Ferndale and a TW member.
