Want to learn how to table (describe TW) at a partner event? Just leave a comment above and we can schedule an opportunity for you to 'lear by doing' at the next partner event! A great way to share your Transition experience with like minded folks.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Tabling: Usually involves a 2 hour time committment.

No set schedule - as needed for community events

Transition Whatcom often has a table at Village Books author presentations, and other community events.  Helping out with tabling means talking with interesting people about Transition, answering questions, encouraging people to sign up for email information, sharing with people about what TW is up to, and finding out about the creative ideas and projects people are involved in.

This group helps support TW Outreach efforts via speaking and/or tabling at partner events, posting flyers about TW events, contacting the media to publicize TW activities, help with planning for large TW events, connecting with existing community groups (like neighborhood organizations) and in general helping to spread the word about the Transition Town movement and Transition Whatcom in particular. Just about anyone can help in some way and this group will serve as the communications hub to announce TW Outreach plans and to call for volunteers.
