How are you currently involved in the Transition?: I current serve on the local Peak Oil Task Force formed by the local governments. I have voluntered to be part of Transition Whatcom.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I have a strong belief that our society needs to change its focus from materialism if it is going to grow in healthy directions. I would much prefer a to live in a social setting that was more supportive of community to live out my remaining years and have a place for any grandchildren I might have to experience strong community values.
