Would anyone like some free, fresh rhubarb?
I'm in the Birchwood neighborhood. Email me at miles58 at yahoo dot com.
More free plants. I just don't like...killing them. If they can live on in someone else's yard, that would be great! And, I know, lemon balm and daisies (smaller 2" flowers) spread like a weed, but are useful plants to have, right?! So if you don't have them in your garden and would like some, they will be by the curb at 2731 Elm St. They are bare root with no pots. I also have extra Brandywine tomato seedlings - small but free.
Free plants at the street in front of 2731 Elm St. Some are a good size and lookin' good, some are small and need a little tlc (looks-wise), but all are vigorous and healthy.
Oregano, golden oregano, columbine, catnip (lots), parsley, sedum (lots), sage, feverfew, borage (seedlings)...
Cardboard offered. Big, dry, flat, great for sheet mulching. We have more than we need. Come get it.

VCR Player? Does anyone have one I could borrow for a week? I have a bunch of vhs recordings of my dance and choreography from decades ago and I want to see if the tapes are still viable. Should transfer to digital and I will if the tapes are still in good enough shape.

Just cut down a bunch of bamboo. There are are probably a few dozen good poles up to an inch in diameter and up to 10 feet long. They are in the driveway next to the dark blue truck at 2731 Elm St. Help yourself.
I'm looking to re-home my flock of 7 chickens (no roosters) They are 2 years old, very healthy and laying eggs. My life has gotten busier so I need to find a good home for these lovely birds.
I'm looking for people who want to have a small flock and will continue giving these ladies a good life. I prefer to find someone who is experienced keeping hens, but....
I'm willing to help someone get started with this flock, and share what I know.
I raised them from 2 days old and they've had only organic feed and filtered water. They have access to a large yard and frequent new patches of grass so they get greens and insects daily. They've had a primo life. They have been treated very kindly and they are gentle in temperament. I'd like to find a similar quality of home for them. (not expecting that they won't be butchered eventually....just want them to have a good life while alive).
I hope to find someone who can take all 7 so they can stay together but there's room for negotiating. Price to be determined. Call if you are interested. 733-3541. Leave your phone number. I don't text.

good luck!
Thank you Dana!!
My neighbor at 2801 Elm St. (intersection of Elm & Maryland) has a bunch of dried bamboo poles that he is getting rid of. We thought someone might be able make use of them. They're free and are at the curb. Leaves have been cleaned off. Some 10ft long or longer, all sizes, but some 1.5in. diameter. Available today only (Sunday). They'll be hauled away tomorrow.
