Hi Kristen, Just checking in with you to see if you still want the laying hens, and when would work for you to pick them up. Their current shelter will be torn down around May 14th... so if you are able to get them before that, it would be great. But if you need me to keep them a little while longer for you I could arrange some temporary shelter for them.  Let me know what works for you :)

Hi Kristen,

thanks for your message about the laying hens. I can definitely reserve 5 of each breed for you. I am realizing that I will need to get them to their new homes once they reach adult size, so that might be in May. Would you have housing for them then?   Here is my email: chrisandbella @ yahoo. com    That might be a quicker way to communicate.  Thanks!

Hi Kristen! You might like to network with some local edible forest gardeners & permaculturists at this local network called Earth Gardens- http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/organic

I usually send new members who might be interested an invite.

Many of us receive Garden E-News by email that Shannon M volunteers to put out. We share o!!ur events & resources with her. Info on how to connect with her & other resources are on this Earth Gardens new member discussion page- http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/organic/forum/topics/member-info-events-links

This Saturday was one our best regional fruit & pollinator workshops! If you're interested you can find out when next event is and learn more at this blog- http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/profiles/blogs/fruit-research-foundation-amp

Let me know if this info is helpful! Hope you'll introduce yourself sometime!
