I got 'em this afternoon and will dehydrate them this evening. I'm composting about 1/5 of them, but that's fine with me. THanks again!! JEan
Hi Megan, I need to go to the Birchwood n'hood anyway to pick some apples, so I am happy to pick up those plum this afternoon. I'll be by after 2:30ish. Thanks so much! I just LOVE dried plums! (So far, my aresenal of vitamins and supplements seem to be helping me win the fight with the virus - knock on wood!) Thanks, too, for offering to drop them off but I'm happy to come get them. I'll be at the CLSR party for sure! Jean
Hi Megan, thanks for the info about the plums! I'll try and stop by today.
I re-read your earlier message and realized that my comment didn't make much sense. Sorry 'bout that! My head is way foggy from fighting some cold or flu that has been going around the classrooms I've been working in! Have a fun bike ride! Jean
Thanks Megan! Nice to know another TW in the neighborhood. Will contact you about the plums....not sure I can fit it in today, but will make the effort.
Hi Megan!
I believe I did meet you at the Skillshare! I probably didn't introduce myself as the volunteer coord. By the afternoon, it seemed that my coordinator efforts weren't really needed anymore, as the other team members were able to determine where the volunteer needs were.
Say, I see that you posted that you had plums a few weeks ago. Do you still have some? I know it is getting way late in the year now, but I sure do love dried plums! Let me know if there are any ripe for the pickin'!
Hopefully see you around other TW events!
Jean

Hi Megan, welcome to the Earth Gardens network! I'm volunteering at our Skillshare Faire on Sept 22nd! We still need lots of volunteers if you can pass the word! Here is our most current discussion http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/forum/topics/updated-whatcom-skillshare-and-barter-faire?xg_source=activity
I hope you'll introduce yourself at the skillshare! Enjoy the abundance of the harvest this year!

Hi Megan! Welcome to our Transition network, and also the Small Scale Grain & Bean growers network. You are invited to connect with the news & activities shared through our larger gardener/permaculture Earth Gardens network, on Transition at http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/organic There are many wise folks on the network that share events & news, without requiring any committment to connect. Hope you'll consider, plus look to request Shannon's Garden E-News, that compiles news to help reduce emails!
