I am not yet involved but hope to be very soon....
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I grew up with a father who charged me a nickel every time I left the lights on. He was also very involved in alernative ways of living i.e. off the grid & out from under the control of our establishment.
Well, he was a little radical for me. So, I try to live my life within the establishment as a steward of our planet with a goal of educating others about our impact on the environment & what we can do to lower that impact.
Thanks so much for your offer of giving my wife(Nancy) and I a lift from the Cordata station. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We really won't need a ride all the way home after the presentation as the buses will still be running from Cordata back to downtown Bellingham until at least 10:15pm. If you (or another attendee) are going back home and passing the Cordata station that too would be very helpful and again appreciated by Nancy and I.
I will call you soon to make the arrangements.
Thanks again Shenandoah.
Paul
P.S. I saw an ad for your business today in a Google Adwords ad. I thought to myself "Shenandoah Myrick! I know Shenandoah. She is a friend of mine at Transition Whatcom"
Hi;
Glad to meet? you. Even though I live in Edmonds, I think the Whatcom area is better prepared for Transitioning. Later this month I'll have time to start attendiong related events, possibly the upcoming event on Aug 13. Cheers;

Hi Shenandoah,
Thanks for adding me as a friend. Hope to see you on the 13th. I am pretty sure my wife and I will be there for My Eco-Neighborhood Presentation. We have both only been here in Bellingham for about a month.
Thanks again, Paul
Hi Shanandoah! So great to be in the garden together again with family & on bikes! Sorry I missed connecting with you all Sat afternoon. Lets share more about Carbon Masters and your ideas!

Sounds like a great fit for our Transition efforts!
