Join us for the first annual Transition Whatcom Harvest Fest!!
New Time: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
+300 Picnics
Live Music by Polecat & Umami
We will ALL meet at Cornwall Park for a celebration of our local abundance, Food, Families, Friends and Fun.
Transition Initiatives and Work Groups will be sharing information and taking on new members. Meet the Transition Whatcom Organizational Group and figure out how you can get involved.

The North End of the park is the place to be- the bands will be setting up there so listen for the music (starting around 4PM) if you get lost!

In response to two questions we have received so far about the event:
+300 Picnics is our goal for the number of people attending. It is not a band name (but maybe we could all bring instruments and form one!)
The event is not planned as a traditional potluck so bring food for you and your family. If you have extra food however, you can share with the people around you- a good way to meet and connect with new people!

What a great idea! Thanks to the organizers for putting this together. Afterwards we can adjourn to Boundary Bay for the Whatcom Land Trust's "Brew Ha Ha"!
