First of all- hope you have a great birthday tomorrow, Paul! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for one more sunny day for you...

About the permaculture courses- I'd like to brainstorm sometime how we can get more interest in these. FYI, I'm scheming with Laura Plaut to see about starting a Youth Employment Planting for Plenty (YEPP?) community garden.

Hi Paul! Great to hear from you. What are you up to these days? I have been doing some small-scale Permaculture consultations for a few people, and have realized that I have SOOO much more to learn... so I have signed up to go help Skeeter on his new property in Eastern Washington this spring/summer. He seems like a great person to learn from. I would love to hear what you have going on too :)

Hi Paul, nice to see you on the TW site! I took your Intro to Permaculture class at the RE-Store recently, and it was an excellent class. You and David really used the principles of permaculture in your teaching, with enough design to help the class flourish, balanced with enough room for the class to "grow" in its own natural way. As someone who has taught a lot and appreciates the craft of teaching, I was very impressed. Your class is also the first time I heard about Transition, and now I am so inspired that I am starting all kinds of cool things. Thanks for planting seeds in my mind and shedding light on what was already growing! --Chris Wolf
