I have visited another transition group and would like to be involved in the Laurel group ,,I feel we have resources to offer

We are involved in sustainable connections ,,we grow our own food ,,we compost ,,we are neighborhood conscious ,,we are knowledgeable about the end of oil ,,,and are willing to organize
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
We are organic small farmers ,,,with an orchard ,,full garden ,,and have medical expertise ,,,we have a full library based on economic views ,,and sustainablility and organic farming and have a full solar panel array to both our house and two rentals
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I went to two meetings in the everson goshen area ,,,and was introduced then ,,also into organizing with providing perennials for 10/10/10

Welcome Barb - How exciting you joined. You definitely have a lot to offer. Check out all the great groups listed. There is so much involvement and information to be had on this website. Also be sure to check out Celt's blog on gardening - really good information.
I just got a 350.org update, in the past week alone, over 550 new events have been registered for 10/10/10. The current count is 2,500+ actions in over 150 countries, and growing every day. Watching so many new actions get signed up - it's tough not to feel a surging excitement for next month.
