Just a reminder that if you want to sing some wassailing songs, we'll be revving them up on Monday nights December 6th, thirteenth and twentieth at my place. Feel free to call 398-9750.

Cyndy, It would be great if you wanted to come as you can. We're basically bringing our own projects to work on. I have knitting and rugs. You know I'm at Inspiration Farm in the middle cabin? Please come any time you can, I am really looking forward to meeting you.

Hi Juliet, What a nice idea to learn the songs and go caroling. I'm not sure I can participate as I have serious back issues. But I'll listen once you all make the rounds! Also on some Monday evenings I teach a class. The craft event sounds fun. Can I come once in awhile? Again, I have a commitment 2 Thursdays a month! Both are wonderful ideas for getting to know one another. Thank you for your creativity1 Cyndy

Hi Cyndy,
I'm glad you were able to represent TL at the TG potluck. Speaking of transitions, we are in the process of a few here at Inspiration Farm, and between the moving in and out activity, we've been staying closer to home than usual. At least I can speak for Mark and I in that regard, and know that others are similarly stretched. We're all planning on a more relaxed summer season, and will send our regrets to the TG crew and plan on another get together.

Transition Goshen held a magnificent gathering today, part of which I was able to attend....Unfortunately I was the only one from TLaurel there, but they appreciated at least one of us. They are doing wonderful projects and meet monthly or more. Hopefully we will get going and can invite them to one of our events. They are very close to us--just down Hemmi a bit.

Thank you for the invitation. Unfortunately my neighbor, who is also a part of Transition Laurel is having a gathering at the same time on the same day. I hope we can do something again in the future. Cyndy Sheldon

Transition Goshen would like to invite the folks at Laurel to a pot luck on 6/19 at 5pm.

TI Goshen cordially invites TI Laurel for a moveable potluck, starting at Peter and Lorraine Holcomb's place at 2332 E. Hemmi Road. You'll get to see some of the systems they've put in place like their brand new humanure, wheel chair accessable compostable toilet, Stephanie and Gary's goat stories, our new wiki web site, and more. After dinner, we'll move to 2427 Goshen Road at Jerry Schuster and Ginny Malmquist's home for dessert, a chance to check out our 7,500 gallon water catchment system and solar plans, and maybe some canoeing on the pond if the weather's nice. As our closest neighbors, we'd like to get to know you folks and build connections to support each other. RSVP's please contact Ginny at 319-4266 or email vmalmquist@netzero.net.

Barkley Village departure at 8:00 am for People-powered bicycle caravaning to meet up with downtown People-Powered-Parade that leaves from La Fiamma parking lot to B'ham High School for opening of the Great Unleashing Event. (Meet at north end of Barkley Parking lot).
If you live in the rural or east county this is a good spot to meet.
The ride into town is all downhill and easy from here!
