Hi Luke! Good to meet you in person at the food potluck out in county! I'm excited for how you can help out promoting what Chris E with BUGS does for urban & community garden vision!
I hope you'll also join in the dialogue of the newly created post-Great Unleashing group, on Smaller Food Gardens! Maybe share your vision for how it could be useful and compliment the TW BUGS site. (I'm thinking it could be useful for new gardeners).
Lets stay in toach! Have you gotton on Shanon Maris's Garden E-News list yet? Many of us grassroot garden advocates channel our info & events to her to compile in a great email....You can post your email on her page, or message me your email & I'll get it passed on to her! Also remember there are some good folks your generation connecting in with the Foundry-A Space to Grow Anything & Ground Floor ('seeds of change' advocacy & more).

Hi Luke! I read your announcement of the BUGS work group on the new TW EDAP work group. You can also help pass the word of the weekly BUGS work groups by passing on the basic where & when info to Shannon Maris , who compiles & sends out a Weekly Garden E-News. So far, this is the way we seem to reach the largest garden volunteer audience with the least emails. I'll look forward to connecting to the BUGS gardens sometime. This Sat I worked in the fairhavenpark garden with the CLSR - Center for Local Self Reliance.

Hi Luke, we missed you at our crazy yet fun gardening potluck! I am happy to see you here on the Transition Whatcom site. If you give me your email I will "invite" you as an official member of our Franklin Park gardening group. Or Ryan can invite you. Looking forward to growing things with you, neighbor!
-Chris
