Pruning Overgrown Fruit Trees at 4445 Northwest Rd, behind the old buffalo farm

Come to a hands-on workshop about pruning fruit trees at an orchard where there are large trees in need of help. There are a variety of mature trees that have been left unpruned for 4 or 5 years. "Heather - I was planning on just rooting the cuttings directly. I can;t see any sign of a graft on the original tree, but it is very old so may have just disappeared. If you'd like to try grafting a cutting onto your rootstock, have at it! "

I plan to make some extras......anyone interested?It's an old tree, unknown variety, which does well here. It hadn;t produced fruit for several years and then this year, in a last hurrah, produced a nice crop of small, sweet and spicy apricots which made very nice apricot crumble.Let me know!See More
