A fellow from Seattle Electric BIkes is coming to Bellingham (weather permitting!) to demonstrate the Bionx electric bicycle system. These folks were at our Great Unleasing, but I didn't have a chance to take a test ride then. So this will be a good opportunity for others like myself to find out more about these bikes - without driving to Seattle. Get a preview at http://www.seattleelectricbike.net/. I'll post directions for all who register…See More

You should have gotten a message from me a while back, but if not, the address is 1915 Rhododendron Way Bellingham. Go east on Alabama from downtown, then south on Vining until it more or less turns into Rhody. Top of the hill on the right.
Hi, Scott, welcome to Transition Ferndale. We connect most of the time in person rather than on the group page. Our gatherings are mostly on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Next Tuesday we will be viewing Blue Gold at the Ferndale WECU with an optional potluck beforehand. You are certainly welcome. Here's the event listing.
My husband just built a passive solar home with a geothermal/ground source heat pump/radiant floor heating system. we're five miles west of Ferndale. Do you have a Ferndale connection?
I hope you find lots of interesting connections at Transition Whatcom. Judith
