Thanks David;

 I was impressed by the organization and comprehensive planning of  Jerry and Ginny in Goshen.  When I noticed an interest by the other groups I thought that an easily duplicatable 'template' is the key to sharing successes and wastes of energy for any Trans. folks delving into  developing all of the key and possible components leading to comprehensive and efficient programs far and wide.  I'm no expert at working websites, or in sustainability, I'm just a guy who does A LOT  of online networking who is trying to help to get the right folks together to make this kind of thing happen.  That's why I started this discussion; In the hopes that the more experienced members would chime in with guidance and suggestions to get a truly global alliance organized.

 I got the idea from S'Connects green building matrix concept.

 I can copy and share info, and ideas with the national hub type groups, and if other regional hubs do the same I believe the information Matrix will become self perpetuating. but that's about as far as My experience can, and hopefully will need to take this.

Hi Scott,

A few years ago I began working on the Sustainable Documentation Projectfor Sustainable Bellingham.  It's not all that you're looking for (a matrix of ideas, info, and actions), but it does have a lot of the "info." Hasn't been updated in a while, but its definitely worth checking out.

Thanks for these resources, Scott. I really appreciate what Les is doing on the Global Transition in Action site and try to follow his lead with regards to using new techniques. Shall we try a Skype meeting for our Hub group sometime? I read the Transition Business comments by Rob Hopkins too.

 Last thursday I made this suggetion to this "global Transition group:

 - I proposed to these would be major hubs that perhaps while we have the free reign of internet technology still at our disposal... That together we contribute to building an archival matrix of ideas, info, actions and results that can serve all Transition groups far and wide.

 Since I haven't been shown anywhere that a truly comprehensive program exists, Except of course in Goshen...  ; )

Yesterday: I got this that they've sent to all of their members..  ( I've still yet to hear back from Transition network.org )

A message to all members of TRANSITION IN ACTION SOCIAL NETWORK

I joined the Global Transition in action group, and Transition network.org-

 I didn't find info on food security at either one, Though it seems as though they are seeking to build a network toward more cohesive action.

 I proposed to these would be major hubs that perhaps while we have the free reign of internet technology still at our disposal... That together we contribute to building an archival matrix of ideas, info, actions and results that can serve all Transition groups far and wide.
