$475 Country Living - room for rent w/private bathroom/ incl Utilities

Unfurnished ~ Room for rent [10x12] with private bathroom. Non smoking.
Includes wifi, utilities, garbage/recycle service.

~ 2 bdrm, 2 bath home on 5 acres and a view of Mt Baker from the garden; 10 minutes from I-5 freeway and Sunset.

I am 52 year old single woman, no children with a small dog that is a friendly service animal to my elderly clients, plus two cats. I love to cook/bake and preserve foods, am independent, enjoy people but also cherish my quiet/private time, and an avid gardener and textile artist.

We will share a fully furnished living room, kitchen, laundry and the land. The landowners live up the hill behind the house.
There is woods right out the back door for strolling and hanging out in, spaces for hammock, chaise lounge and lots of gardens. It is a peaceful place and a quiet place to study.

I work varied hours and I am seeking a financially stable non-smoker who would like to live in the country and loves animals. There will be fresh berries next summer and plenty of room to grow veggies, fruit and flowers. Love of gardening a plus, but not required.

First, last and damage deposit is $300; no onsite storage or other pets (small pet okay - fish, bird, reptile, etc).

If interested:
please tell me about yourself, give me a phone number for phone chat/skype, please share a photo or two+ if you can and what about my ad is of interest for you!

:) Thank you,
Jamie and the critters....

BUGS folks- we would love to have your presence at the First Annual Whatcom SkillShare (and Barter) Faire this September.  Please consider coming and maybe showing faire-goers how to plant some cool container gardens, or something urban-y and garden-y!  Check it out at www.whatcomskillsharefaire.org.

The Farm Implement Co-op

Mission Statement

The Farm Implement Co-op is founded on the idea that small scale urban and rural farming is impeded by startup and maintenance costs of equipment and these costs could be minimized by collective ownership. We believe that a Farm Implement Co-op will simultaneously help to strengthen our local food supply and create local sustainable jobs.

We have set a meeting date for the 18th of May please RSVP at farmimplementcoop@gmail.com

Hope to see you

Has anyone thought about fundraising for BUGS via The Human Race in a few weeks? Would anyone be willing to combine forces?
