We will be supporting existing community and TW food security-oriented projects, organizations, and the local ag industry; assessing gaps and how to fill them; and starting a plan for dramatically increasing food security in the next 10-20 years.

We support our local communities and enjoy conversing with others who share like-minded ideas, concerns and interests.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
We own and operate Grow Northwest, the local food, farm, DIY magazine serving our northwest corner, as well as the Foothills Gazette newspaper and What's Up! magazine. We're interested in being able to connect with some folks we're writing about.
