I actually reside in Skagit County but have family with whom I farm a bit near Ferndale
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I'm an organic farmer and seed grower (a bit of plant breeding too). I am interested in local, sustainable, community building.

Hi Woody! We would love to have you over anytime--the garden is coming along great. Well, actually, the greenhouse is mostly where the action is right now. We are still working on making beds here and there, and need probably 60 yards of fill dirt to prepare the main garden area. Noah and I will both be around for the first half of May, and for all of June--we are planning to have an open house sometime around the Solstice. Let me know next time you're up this way!
