In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I grew all my family's vegetables and fruits last summer. I hope to become as "food Independent" as possible. I would love to farm full-time someday. I am a bus rider/bicyclist/carpooler.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Perhaps. I am looking to learn and share information.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Join us at Tina's for a potluck, farm tour and discussion on Tuesday, May 25 at 6:00 pm or as soon as you can. That's at 1170 Sunset Dr. Her number is 312-1827. See you there!
Tyler, we are getting together on 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings. On Apr 13 we will be meeting at a member's home and on Apr 27 we have a potluck/movie night at the Ferndale WECU. They haven't been listed as events yet, but I wanted to give you a heads up on the dates. Hope to meet you soon. Judith
Hi Tyler,
Your farm sounds great. I love veggies and would like to be self sufficient also. I like what you said about Eliot Coleman. He is so smart about the garden and I will have to get one of those books also. So where is your farm in Ferndale? We are on Hidden Pond Dr. off of Northstar rd. between Thornton and Aldergrove. Hopefully we'll see you Tuesday night at Peggy Borgen's house.
Cheers, David Culver
We're just starting to get together to share skills and resources. It would be great if you could join us. Where do you live? My husband David and I are building off North Star Rd near Lake Terrell 5 mi west of Ferndale. Our group is spread out east and west of the highway. Looking forward to meeting you, Judith
