Well said, J.C., and important link. Thank you.
Words, by their very nature have an inherent bias which when misused reduce qualities, quite sublimely, of notions originating from different paradigms to a disingenuous playing field. When the debate between Good Jobs is juxtaposed against a tacit acknowledgment of a concern for the environment, it demonstrates or takes advantage of the flaw. The context provided by global climate disruption is of a different logical order. Failing to recognize the difference is at our own expense, or more bluntly, our own existence. Pretending otherwise only ushers us closer to a reality of bleak options, where there are no words.http://arctic-news.blogspot.com/2014/08/ring-of-ice.html

On Monday night, all across the country, people will be gathering to mark this
moment together at protest vigils, where we will light the night with our
resolve to keep fighting. We need to show the media, big oil and the President
that this movement is mobilized and unafraid. The State Department just released
its flawed environmental report on the Keystone XL Pipeline, setting in motion
the countdown to the final decision by President Obama. So… it’s game time!
Please bring candles, bike lights, head lamps and a friend or 2 or 3 to light it
up and show our resolve and say NO to the Keystone XL Pipeline. We will gather
to shine our candles, bike lights and head lamps and light up the night.
How many folks will claim victory if the coal/oil trains end up being run through the county?
