Event Description

Join with volunteers at Connelly Creek in Happy Valley Park for Streamside Habitat Restoration on Saturday Oct 17th 9am with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA) & volunteers.

Help remove non-native, invasive plant species & plant new native shrubs along Connelly Creek.
(Total of 6 Saturday workparties at different whatcom county creeks/watersheds)

Tools & gloves will be provided.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing & wear sturdy shoes.
Refreshments provided by The Bagelry, the community Food Co-op, Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods, Starbukcs Coffee, & Tony's Coffee & Teas.
Network with your friends for carpooling or ride a bike & dress warm!

Parking is available in the lot of Fairhaven Pavilion, at corner at Old Fairhaven Pkw. & 30th St. Then walk west towards Fairhaven on Old Fairhaven Pkw. And look for signs & blue NSEA tent to check in there.
