I hate to add an opinion, when I'm not sure how it works out in practice, but I would trust the TWOG's judgement, and vote for the change. As long as it is truly easy to find the old discussions...

Hi Dianne! I read both your blog posts re the ning site topic. You wrote that you didn't see them posted – but they are both currently visible on the front page of our TW ning website..(Take a look on the left side column & scroll down).
They can be there until new blogs appear on the front page.
It is good to have you add your thoughts to our discussions.
I wonder if you may have been responding to a Twog-blog post started 12/26 under the Twog page. Here is link to their blog pages, so far containing two blogs:

In the future, if you would rather add your reply comment to a specific blog post, you would then want to type it in the 'Comment section' just below the authors blog text, and then press 'Add Comment'.
It is fine the way you did it - by creating your own Blog post, which then stands on its own.
Let me know if this has been a help to you.
I'm also part of the network of folks within the Living Democracy group. There are some emails being shared in that group, that I hope you have received. If not, and you want to be on the communication email list, let me know and I'll pass your email on to either Stoney or Rick D.
.The events page also lists when the next meeting is.
Thanks for your interest! I mostly communicate through my email discuss-lists, but am trying to use social networking more. Give me your email address and I'll send you my updates... also just got an email from Kristi who is starting her master's thesis on this issue. Check out the "A New Way Forward" website along with Huffington Post's campaign to divest from large banks. My email is vefoster@earthlink.net. I plan to have ANWF meetings starting in the new year.
I just read Plan B by your friend Kristina and am wanting to involve a financial / economics type in a workshop that I hope to get going through Transition Whatcom. Do you think you might be able to play that role? Can you tell me more about A New Way Forward?
You had a Break the Banks event? You are cutting edge, my friend! How amazing. I'll definitely check out your speaker's link and info, and will hope to hear more about this exciting movement. Juliet
Do you remember how we know each other? I am not quite remembering. Thanks - hope to see you in person soon!
