Hi Roseanne. This is Alan Seid. You can email me at alan@CascadiaWorkshops.com or call me at (360) 599-2134. Let's talk and find a way to make it work for you to attend. ~Alan
Hi Roseanne, Happy Valley has lots of gardens & space, though it might take some networking with neighbors to find a space. I'm not sure, but possibly Common Threads Farm is still in the area, and they can use volunteer help and helpers with the kids. Find info by googling. Also, neighborhood meetings in that area would be good place to find out. The city communitiy gardens have not grown to accomadate the requests, yet....so finding a neighbor with space to share or a sunny lawn that looks ready to convert, is a good way to go! Maybe we'll get to meet at one of the Tuesday garden work parties!
Many of us also share our news & events through Shannon's Garden E News. More info on the Earth Gardens website.
I'm usually at the Tuesday Garden Party evening workparty with meal events. More info at- http://www.sustainablebellingham.org/ Hope to see you in the earth garden this spring!
