Heart & Soul Post-Isolation Potluck and Open Space at The Ground Floor

June 20, 2010 from 6pm to 9pm
Our 'post-isolation' potlucks have become a monthly event that the lovely folks at The Ground Floor have graciously agreed to host on an ongoing basis. Potluck dinner is from 6 to 7:15/7:30, then open space small group discussions until around 9. Topics for open space discussion can be proposed on the night, and those interested gather in small groups in different parts of the venue. After attending the Great Unleashing, I will be active in the Politics and Democracy Group.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The end of oil is near. It is time to start preparing for a less energy intense community.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am a civil engineer. I am a big or outside the box thinker. Public speaking, hard working, dedicated and follow through, physically strong worker, understand clean drinking water, stormwater, sewer and septic, refuse, recycling, compost, woodworking, steel working, physics...

Hi Rhett! I am so glad you are in our community, and now on the TW site! I missed saying Hi at our Great Unleashing Event! There is rural potluck next Sunday with focus on networking on 'food-farmer-farmland-gardener-forestry' issues!
It sure would be great to have a member of Living Democracy join with us!
