I am looking forward to meeting others involved in Transition Whatcom. I've heard good things about the Transition and, being relatively new to Bellingham, am looking forward to becoming part of the community.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
My wife and I are just beginning our gardening adventures. Up until now, I've been a city dweller (no yard) and she's from SW Colorado (no rain) so we'll likely manage to grow things in spite of our selves. We are gardening cooperatively with some amazing and knowledgeable folks from whom we could learn a lot. In addition, we've adopted two chickens - Creampuff and Semi - and are raising our first batch of baby hens - Marlene, Bill, Doris and Sally Ann. Creampuff is our resident celebrity and has her own Facebook page.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Hi Aidan & Kristan! So much fun to see you yesterday! I've just now found you on my TW site! I'll send you an invite to the group "Organic Gardeners...Permi" that I created. There are so many wise folks that share our wisdom, humor & concerns! Come visit when you can, bring a swimsuit and some garden gloves!
Nice pic - Aidan!
No census for me... I'm pretty busy with my design work. It would cut into my garden time too. Wait till you see the big piles of soil, compost, and wood chips I have to deal with!
Hey I have a date for tea next Sunday with you and Kristin.... or maybe we'll just weed the garden together or something?
Looking forward to seeing you'all~
Welcome, Aidan. What kinds of things are you interested in...Chickens? Gardening? Alternative energies? Do you live in the area, and if so what is your neighborhood?
