Homemade Chicken Feed

I'm thinking of making my own chicken feed. Is anyone else doing this? I'd like to compare notes and research.

I'm thinking of making it wheat free. My biggest hurdle is how to make sure the range of nutrients and the proportions are correct for the hens' health.
