Event Description

Join us for the first monthly Transition Cafe. The Transition Cafe is a monthly meet-up where people gather in small groups around Transition themes that interest them-- such as Food, Energy, Health, Heart & Soul, and Community Living. It is a fun, social way to explore how to build more resilient lives, create stronger communities and connect with other folks to have a bit of comaraderie amidst the unfolding realities of economic, ecological and energy transitions.  Work groups who want to contribute to the county-wide Energy Descent Action Plan can use this time and space for their meetings if they wish. 
6 to 7 pm - SOCIAL TIME, food is available to purchase from the market vendors
7 to 9 pm - SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS
We hope to engage people's hearts, heads, and hands as we Connect, Converse, & Create!

Hi Chris!  When is the next Transition Cafe event?  Is it March 19th?

Sorry to miss the Feb event!  I keep meeting folks who are interesed in attending the next Transition Cafe!

Good work Chris and Adam, I so badly wish I could make it, but sadly I will be working until 9 that evening.  Here's hoping that some constructive connections will be made at the event.  Thanks for putting it on and bringing folks together!

What a great idea!  My spouse and I making a much needed escape that weekend, but I'll be at the next one. Can't wait to sit down with some of my people!
