Directions: 1 block N of the Fairhaven Library, tee intersection of 12th and Knox. Nearest I-5 intersection is Exit 250, take Old Fairhaven Parkway west, turn north at 12th St and follow 12th up the hill as it splits off from the arterial at Mill St.
Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Bring your favorite shovel, fork, hoe or other basic hand tool. 90 minutes gardening and the rest hanging out on the deck
watching the sunset and eating.
Food: Beer, wine, cider. Vegetarian soup, salad, bread, snacks, cheese, really good homemade stuff from Celt's garden. Vegetarian friendly, but folks who are gluten free might want to bring some rice chips.
Tasks: Weeding the flower beds along the sidewalk, moving a pile of soil to its new home, digging out two large beds to prepare them for planting.
