Comment by Lady Hamster on February 18, 2012 at 12:59pm I am hoping to come and Lure a couple other people along with me who either Have fruit trees as well, or are helping with pruning my own little fruit cocktail orchard which has trees from 10-100 years old badly neglected over time. Some have been "chain saw trimmed" from just the tips of branches before I moved to my farm.
I notice 'black knot fungus' is very prevelant here, so I am hoping you also discuss sanitizing of clippers between trees, and even the cuts of trees.
Comment by Krista Rome on February 15, 2012 at 12:09am Christopher, way to get back on the horse. I look forward to seeing you there, buddy.
Comment by Chris Wolf on February 13, 2012 at 2:18pm No cost-- it is a free workshop. Pay it forward by going home and helping a neighbor prune their apple tree!
Comment by jasmin liepa on February 13, 2012 at 10:53am is there a cost to the workshop?
Comment by Christopher L. on February 8, 2012 at 7:17pm I am planning on being there! Right up my alley. Pruner... deep breathes...
I'm looking forward to learning more about fruit tree pruning.
Comment by Krista Rome on February 8, 2012 at 6:17pm I HIGHLY recommend this workshop. Travis mentored me in fruit tree pruning last year and he is an amazing teacher. You will not be disappointed. This is really a great opportunity so pass the word!
