Event Description

Jesse Corrington will be teaching some basic primitive skills at River Haven Farm (http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/riverhavencommunityfarm) on July 2nd. Skills such as fire starting using a bow drill, cordage,  weaving, basketry and foraging will be taught. We will have a small potluck afterwards if you'd like to stay. You are also welcome to spend the night and camp out on the property. It is very beautiful.

The address is 741 River Road, Lynden but there is not a number on the house/mailbox. Drive to the end of River Road (west off of the Guide Meridian) and we are the last house on the left side, look for a large, red barn.

I hope this workshop is offered again.  Primitive skills are rather fascinating and not a bad idea to learn!

What would be good to bring to the potluck?
