Event Description
Empower yourself in this “field-to-table” workshop. Learn to prepare fresh masa the traditional way, using both wood ash and lime as we transform locally-grown organic grain corn into an important staple food. Advice on growing good tortilla corn will also be provided as we enjoy a sampling of tortillas hot off the grill with home-grown beans. $20 per person. Alternate date of Nov 11 for anyone that really can't make the 17th, as I am teaching a private group that is open to a few more add-ons.
