The Community Food Co-oop extends a special invitation to Transition folks who have been thinking about resilience and what we should be thinking about to meet the needs of the future for secure, healthy food, farms and community.
The event will be this coming Thursday, October 20, 6 – 8 pm at the YWCA ballroom, 1026 N Forest St. People do need to be members (but they can join at the service desk and then sign up for the event -- they can start a membership for $8). There’s room for 10 – 15 more people. We really want to try to think about what we should do now to be ready to meet people’s needs 5 – 10 years from now (and onward of course) – especially with all the changes that are coming (and the food will be yummy!).
Featuring food from local producers prepared by the Co-op Deli and Bakery.
