Join Kulshan Carbon Trust, Whatcom Conservation District, and Fire District 14 to learn about wildfire preparedness!
KCT presented at the Wildfire Current Conditions Briefing for Electeds and Senior Officials in the Skagit Valley last month. Amidst the 2024 fire season forecasts, wildfire protection plans, relief and support services information, and air quality monitoring updates from public service agents, KCT offered a helpful mitigation strategy highlighting biochar and community partnerships (slide deck). We are excited to continue bringing natural climate solutions into the wildfire safety space.
