This fun outdoor workshop will have you sweating in the sun while learning how to entice microbes and worms to break down your kitchen scraps and yard scraps into rich compost. Learn the elements necessary for several different methods of successful, fast, and stink-free composing. Then participate in a hands-on building of a real-live hot compost pile with a bunch of enthusiastic friends. Wear clothes for gettin' dirty!
Taught by: Chris Wolf, certified permaculture designer. Hosted by Ginger Kennell and Mark Falcone at their small farm. RSVP to Chris for directions to the workshop: chrisandbella (at) yahoo (dot) com.
Fee: donate what you can to cover instructor and materials, no one turned away.

Anything taught by Chris is Hot Baby, and deserves your attention!
If you're still hauling your weeds & kitchen scraps to the city green site, or dumping them in the garbage can, its time to scrap that industrial cultural behavior and toss them in your home Compost Pile to the hardworking microorganisms.
