Hi Emily, Thanks for helping with the Twog group!

Here is an invite to our TransitionWhatcom's "Earth Garden's" network....most of us are busy outside this time of year, but we share events, garden & permaculture advice, and medicine making.  Hope you'll connect in with us!

Hi Emily, good to meet you. Klara Weis and I were going to start working on some stuff out here in the SV. Klara recently stepped down as a board member and knows most of the inner workings of the SV system. An issue we were facing had to do with the covenants (as opposed to the SV guidelines). The issue is that to make a change we need a 2/3 of the residential vote (I doubt that many people have ever even turned out for a vote). Perhaps email Klara and get more details - she knows much more about this than I do. Her email is k.weis@comcast.net, you can tell her I gave it to you. My wife and I are about to embark on a new chapter of our life travelling the world so our role here will be greatly diminished but I'll certainly support any way I can. I hope this helps.

Best regards,
- Ethan

Yes, I would. I'm not sure how. I am committed to the Small Potatoes Gleaning Project, and I just heard a buzz that the Bellingham Foodbank will be somehow involved in 3 plots at the new community garden. I may be involved in that. I am currently replacing my "landscaping" with edible and medicinal plants. Would love to talk more.
