I highly recommend viewing this video. It is an amazing assessment of the issues facing the environmental movement. In order to counteract the impact of the "money pollution" that is choking Washington, D.C., McKibben says the environmental movement needs to speak with one powerful voice in opposition to the radical proposition of international corporate governance which argues that it really doesn't matter what harms we inflict on the planet, because we can adapt.
Bill identifies September 24, 2011 as the next big global 10-10-10 type of event. Transition Whatcom needs to step up and be the face of that action in Whatcom County.
