In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I understand peak oil and global climate change. I was part of the Back to the Land movement in the '70s and have been on the radical front lines regarding farming and the environment ever since.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Sustainable farming practices. Social work supporting the most vulnerable populations.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Hi, Toni, I just included this comment as part of a post on the Transition Ferndale group page:
"Lastly, we are looking for new venues for Transition Ferndale events. You are welcome to talk about sustainability at the Stein on Wednesday nights but talk about Transition Ferndale should be at another location. As an open grassroots group, each of you is invited to organize gatherings and post them here. "
I also sent the post to 3 other people who have expressed an interest.
David and I won't be coming on Wednesday nights and I hope others will be respectful. Judith
