Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I have attended the Transition Training in Portland and have maintained an on-going knowledge of peak oil issues and am interested in participating in an 'intentional community'.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Peak oil has been a concern of mine for almost 20 years. I want to lead the way for my children into a new way of living.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Personally I have many many skills and would be glad to share them. Maybe when I have more time. I see Transition Whatcom as a networking resource that might put me in contact with people who truly want to make the concrete move from endless internet communication to meaningful and substantial action.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
South Snohomish County, Edmonds

Hi again, Thomas
I was just thinking of you yesterday....remembering our discussion about intentional community. I am wondering if we can chat on the phone or get together for lunch sometime. Rick and I have found a piece of land we are interested in (25 acres) and are starting (again) to gather folk together that have expressed interest in moving forward with developing an intentional community.
