By my everday activities such as not owning a car, having a mindful diet and trying to not buy anything new.
I have worked on a variety of environmental related campaigns in Michigan.
I have a particular interest is sustainible food.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have always cared deeply about the environment; however, issues such as global warming and peak oil make these environmental concerns more then a personal stance and actually threats to our society.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I have worked a couple of organic farms and is something I would like to continue learning about.
I have a lot of experience organizing special events and volunteers.
I studied communications and am very good at speaking with people. I am interested in environmental education.

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I was involved in the transition group in Marquette, MI (where I just moved from) and would like to continue my involvement here.
