How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Bicycling.
Exploring energy saving/producing construction & renovation methods, and lifestyle modifications. (Did you know that you can live without hot water?)
Whatcom Peace and Justice Center Board member.
Stopping to smell the roses.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The movement's action plan (don't wait, create!) is one i've attempted to live.
I share with the people in the movement a similar understanding of both the crisis we are in and the potential for the future. At the Great Unleashing, i heard it breathing!
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Based on an electronics background, i view the world as a flow and conversion of energy.
I have a broad understanding of products, materials, design, and the tools which convert them to items we want (and and sometimes need).
I fix things.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

In case you didn't know already, there is a "Group" on this website (under the tab called "Groups" at the top of the page) that is Transition Columbia Neighborhood. You could look at that group or join it to find other Transition folks in your neck of the woods. OK, that's all for now. --Chris
