Exploring energy saving/producing construction & renovation methods, and lifestyle modifications. (Did you know that you can live without hot water?)
Whatcom Peace and Justice Center Board member.
Stopping to smell the roses.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The movement's action plan (don't wait, create!) is one i've attempted to live.
I share with the people in the movement a similar understanding of both the crisis we are in and the potential for the future. At the Great Unleashing, i heard it breathing!
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Based on an electronics background, i view the world as a flow and conversion of energy.
I have a broad understanding of products, materials, design, and the tools which convert them to items we want (and and sometimes need).
I fix things.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Events listings (Sustainable Bellingham?)

I fit in with the actions and philosophy of the movement.

In case you didn't know already, there is a "Group" on this website (under the tab called "Groups" at the top of the page) that is Transition Columbia Neighborhood. You could look at that group or join it to find other Transition folks in your neck of the woods. OK, that's all for now. --Chris
Hi Peter! It was great to see you at the Unleashing, and then to see you pop up on this website. I feel like Transition work is an extension of the philosophies and work that you and many people like you have been doing for decades, so thank you! And welcome. --Chris Wolf
