How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I am the creator of UnitingCreatives.com - an intentional social media collaboration website. We are focused on bringing together creative leaders, innovators and industrious people of all walks of life to discuss change in a proactive manner.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

You guys seem to be moving and shaking...and that is thrilling to me to see. I like collaborate with people who get things done. I love to support and inspire new leadership, new ways of thinking, new ways of 'revisioning' the future.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I have developed new holistic organizational development models that I have to offer the group.

In addition, I (and some other local people) produced the film Flipping the Joy Switch to explain how we can shift from fear based habitual thinking patterns into joy inspired action that produces emotional resilience. I would love to offer this video as a teaching tool and then lead a discussion forum on how this applies to local, community and global change systemically.

When we master the personal skills we outline in that movie, we can expand our thinking exponentially. We can develop the capacity to think way 'outside the bottle' of any illusions we have about how things have been...and are encouraged to think about how things could be differently. It is easier to let go of the past and embrace a new future - in our homes, in our communities and globally.
