Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Learning about healthy ways to live in Whatcom county and Cascadia, making art to share that knowledge, riding my bicycle and volunteering at the Bellingham Food Bank
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I think that industrialized society is making people all over the world sick and unhappy and threatening the survival of not only our own species but many others as well. We can create more healthy and happy lives for ourselves but we must study the world carefully and rethink our most basic assumptions.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I can draw and paint in a broad spectrum of styles, from detailed representation to total abstraction, create murals, diagrams, posters, and images in general. I have some boating, commercial fishing, and woodworking experience, and enjoy these as well. I am young and in good shape, and can do hard physical labor. I can converse in French.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Currently moving, was on Marine Drive and before that in Fairhaven
