Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I'm not... I'm relatively new to B'ham and have participated in Occupy and the Spring trainings for direct action.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm intensely reading and studying writings concerning deep green resistance (among many many others) and am ready to act on my beliefs.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I'm an educator and like working with young people (as well as people of all ages). I have a long background in the arts (mainly the performing arts) and any sort of artistic collaboration would be excellent. I can write and edit and be involved in basic outreach, propaganda and education.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Fairhaven
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Via Deep Green Whatcom website, although I've seen and heard the Transition Whatcom name quite frequently.
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
